Metabo HPT C18DBALP4 Dust Port: What Fits It
The dust port on the C18DBALP4 is a proprietary shape. It is not a clean round stub like many sanders use, so a standard round adapter will not just slide on.
Our adapter is printed for that shape. It grips the saw port on one end and steps to your vac hose on the other end.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one grabs a shaped port on its own, and a taped joint leaks the whole time you cut.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Metabo HPT C18DBALP4
First, clear any dust out of the port. A clean port gives the best fit.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end of the adapter.
