Full port and fit detail for this tool

The Ryobi PCL525B is a Ryobi ONE+ 18V cordless tool. It throws fine dust right at your cut line as you work. Pulling it at the port keeps the line clear so the cut stays true.

The tool has a round dust port. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits that port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other end. No tape. No clamps.

Ryobi PCL525B Dust Port: What Fits It

The PCL525B has a round dust port. Our PETG adapter is built to fit it and holds by friction.

Dust pickup matters here because the dust lands on your line. When the line is covered, you cannot follow it and the cut drifts. A vac at the port pulls that dust away so the line stays clear.

Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 in. or 2-1/2 in. Neither one presses onto a tool port on its own. The adapter takes the tool on one end and your hose on the other.

Why Cordless Tools Still Need a Hose

Cordless means you cut where the work is, and that is often a finished room.

A hose at the port keeps the mess in the vac instead of on the floor.

Drop the vac in a corner, run the hose, and the cord is still off your work.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Ryobi PCL525B

First, clear any dust out of the port. A clean port gives the best fit.

Press the tool end of the PETG adapter into the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end of the adapter. Turn the vac on before you start the cut.

Ryobi PCL525B Dust Collection FAQ

What fits the dust port on the Ryobi PCL525B?+

Our PETG adapter does. One end presses into the tool port. The other end takes your shop vac hose.

Does the Ryobi PCL525B work with a regular shop vac?+

Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose does not seal on the tool port on its own. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the tool port on one end and your vac hose on the other.

Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+

No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.

Do you sell the design file?+

No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
