The WEN 20625 is a 20V cordless, 6-1/2 in. circular saw. It is a grab-and-go saw, and every quick cut leaves a spray of sawdust behind. Hooking a vac to the dust port catches that spray at the blade, so the mess stays in the vac instead of on your floor and in your air.
The dust port is round. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits that port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other, so the hose holds instead of falling off.

WEN 20625 Dust Port: What Fits It
The 20625 has a round dust port built into the guard. Our PETG adapter is made to fit it.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 in. or 2-1/2 in. Neither one seals on a saw port by itself. That gap is why dust sprays past the hose instead of going into it.
The adapter grips the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so you get a snug fit with no tape and no clamps.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the WEN 20625
First, clear any packed dust out of the port, so it fits snug.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so a firm push holds it. Press your shop vac hose onto the other end. Turn the vac on before the blade touches wood, so the first chips go into the hose.
A hose adds a little drag on a cordless saw. Drape it over your shoulder or clip it to your belt, so it feeds smoothly and does not pull the saw off your line.
Why Hook a Vac to a Cordless Circular Saw
Cordless saws get used everywhere: the garage, the deck, inside the house. That last one matters, because fine sawdust indoors hangs in the air and settles on everything.
