Bosch GET75 Dual-Mode Random Orbit Sander Dust Port Size and Vacuum Adapter Guide

The Bosch GET75 is the Bosch 6 in. Dual-Mode Random Orbit Sander. The dust port is round and about 28 mm inside and 32 mm outside. Those numbers come from an adapter made for this sander, so treat them as close, not exact. Measure your own port to confirm before you buy.

A sander makes fine dust that hangs in the air and gets into your lungs. Pulling it right at the port keeps the air clean. A GulpDust PETG adapter is sized to the port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other end. It is a friction fit. No tape. No clamps.

Bosch GET75 Dust Port Size: About 28 mm Inside, Round

The dust port on the GET75 is round. It is about 28 mm on the inside and about 32 mm on the outside. Those figures come from an adapter made for this Bosch sander, so treat them as close, not a hard spec.

Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. They are far too wide for a 28 mm port. That gap is why fine dust sprays out instead of going into the hose.

A GulpDust adapter is printed to match the sander port on one end and your vac hose on the other end. Measure your port first so you order the size that seals tight.

How to Measure Your Bosch GET75 Dust Port

Close caliper jaws around the OUTSIDE of the port stub. That gives you the outer diameter in millimeters. Round to the nearest standard size if your number falls between two.

Next, slide the inside jaws into the port and open them out until they touch the inner wall. That gives you the inner diameter. The inner is what the adapter slides into. The outer tells you how snug the fit will be.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Bosch GET75

First, clear any dust out of the port. A clean port gives the best seal.

Press the small end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end of the adapter. Turn the vac on before you start to sand.

Bosch GET75 Dust Collection FAQ

What size is the dust port on the Bosch GET75?+

The port is round and about 28 mm on the inside and about 32 mm on the outside. Those numbers come from an adapter made for this sander, not a Bosch spec sheet, so measure your own port with calipers before you buy.

Does the Bosch GET75 work with a regular shop vac?+

Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is much wider than the Bosch dust port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the tool port on one end and your vac hose on the other.

Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+

No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.

Can I print this adapter myself?+

Yes. You can buy the printed PETG part shipped from the US, or download the STL file and print it at home. We suggest PETG with 3 walls and 25 percent infill.
