Full port and fit detail for this tool
The Ridgid R8652 is the Ridgid 18V Brushless 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw. The dust port is round and sits on the side.
A circular saw throws chips and fine dust hard. Catching it at the port keeps your cut line visible and the bench clear. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits the port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other end. It is a friction fit. No tape. No clamps.

Ridgid R8652 Dust Port: What Fits It
The dust port on the R8652 is round and sits on the side of the saw. Our PETG adapter is built to fit it.
A shop vac hose is far wider than a saw port. Set one against the other and dust blows out the gap instead of going down the hose.
The adapter grips the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other end, so the suction stays where the chips come out.
Why Hook a Vac to a Cordless Circular Saw
A cordless saw goes where the work is, and that is usually somewhere you do not want a pile of chips.
With the vac on the port, most of the stream leaves through the hose. You see your line and the offcut lands clean.
Cutting sheet goods indoors gets a lot easier too. Less dust in the air means less on every flat surface in the room.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Ridgid R8652
First, clear any dust out of the port. A clean port gives the best fit.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end of the adapter. Turn the vac on before you start the cut.
Ridgid R8652 Dust Collection FAQ
What fits the dust port on the Ridgid R8652?+
Our PETG adapter does. One end presses onto the saw port. The other end takes your shop vac hose.
Does the Ridgid R8652 work with a regular shop vac?+
Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is wider than the Ridgid dust port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the tool port on one end and your vac hose on the other.
Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+
No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.
Do you sell the design file?+
No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
