Full port and fit detail for this tool

The DeWalt DCS334B is the 20V MAX cordless jig saw. It runs on the DeWalt 20V battery and cuts curves and shapes in wood and metal. When you cut, fine dust builds up right on your line and hides the cut.

The saw has a dust port on the rear, and it is a proprietary shape, not a clean round port. Our PETG adapter is made to fit it. One end grips the saw port. The other end takes your shop vac hose. No tape. No clamps.

DeWalt DCS334B Dust Port: What Fits It

The dust port on the DCS334B is a proprietary shape, not a clean round port. Our adapter is made to fit it.

Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one fits this port on its own. That gap is why dust blows past the hose and onto your cut line.

A GulpDust adapter is printed to match the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other end. Pick your hose and we make the part to match.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the DeWalt DCS334B Jig Saw

First, look at the rear port on the saw. Wipe out any sawdust so the adapter seats clean.

Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.

Turn the vac on before you cut. A clear line is easier to follow, so your curves come out clean and you breathe less dust.

Why Dust Collection Helps on the DeWalt DCS334B

A jig saw makes fine dust that floats. It piles up on the cut line and hides where the blade is going.

Pulling that dust at the port keeps your line clear. You see the cut, you stay on the mark, and the dust does not hang in the air.

Any shop vac works. A vac with an auto-start outlet is even better, because it turns on when the saw turns on.

DeWalt DCS334B Dust Collection FAQ

Will a GulpDust adapter fit the DeWalt DCS334B dust port?+

Yes. The port is a proprietary shape at the rear of the saw, and our adapter is printed to fit it. The other end matches your shop vac hose.

Does the DeWalt DCS334B work with a regular shop vac?+

Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is too big for this small proprietary port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other.

Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+

No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it into the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.

Do you sell the design file?+

No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.

Does the same adapter fit other DeWalt 20V MAX tools?+

Not always. DeWalt 20V MAX tools use different ports. The DCW600B router has a round port, while the jig saw and the sanders use proprietary shapes. Each tool page has the adapter made for that tool.
