The dust port on the DWS713 is round. The outer lip is about 42 mm across. That figure comes from a shop vac adapter made to fit the saw, so it is close, not a hard spec. The inside size is not confirmed yet.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. They do not fit this port on their own. The small dust bag that comes with the saw catches very little, so most chips end up on the floor.

How to Measure Your DeWalt DWS713 Dust Port

Close caliper jaws around the OUTSIDE of the port. That gives you the outer diameter in millimeters. Then slide the inside jaws into the port and open them until they touch the inner wall. That gives you the inner diameter. The outer tells you how snug the fit will be.
