Full port and fit detail for this tool
The DeWalt DCS355B is the 20V MAX oscillating multi-tool. It runs on the DeWalt 20V battery and cuts, sands, and scrapes in tight spots. The blade makes fine dust right where you are working.
The tool has a dust port on the front, and it is a proprietary shape. Our PETG adapter is made to fit it. One end grips the tool port. The other end takes your shop vac hose. No tape. No clamps.

DeWalt DCS355B Dust Port: What Fits It
The dust port on the DCS355B is a proprietary shape at the front of the tool, not a clean round port. Our adapter is made to fit it.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one fits a small tool port like this on its own. That gap is why dust drifts up into your face as you cut.
A GulpDust adapter is printed to match the tool port on one end and your vac hose on the other end. Pick your hose and we make the part to match.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the DeWalt DCS355B Multi-Tool
First, look at the front port on the tool. Wipe out any dust so the adapter seats clean.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.
Turn the vac on before you start. A clear cut line helps you stay on the mark in tight spots.
Why Dust Collection Matters on the DeWalt DCS355B
A multi-tool often works up close to your face, at eye level on walls and trim. The fine dust it makes goes right where you breathe.
Pulling that dust at the port keeps more of it out of the air and off your work. You see the line and you breathe easier.
Any shop vac works. Keep the hose light and out of the way so the tool stays easy to steer in tight spots.
DeWalt DCS355B Dust Collection FAQ
Will a GulpDust adapter fit the DeWalt DCS355B dust port?+
Yes. The port is a proprietary shape at the front of the tool, and our adapter is printed to fit it. The other end matches your shop vac hose.
Does the DeWalt DCS355B work with a regular shop vac?+
Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is too big for this small proprietary port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the tool port on one end and your vac hose on the other.
Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+
No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it into the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.
Do you sell the design file?+
No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
Does the same adapter fit other DeWalt 20V MAX tools?+
Not always. DeWalt 20V MAX tools use different ports. The multi-tool and the jig saw use proprietary shapes, while the DCW600B router has a round port. Each tool page has the adapter made for that tool.
